Many women spend a lot of time looking at their legs. Somewhere along the way, legs became a significant source of both fashion and self-esteem. Some women think that the longer their legs are, the better they look in certain outfits. Then there are other things that women angst about when it comes to their legs – whether they are too fat, whether they look good in certain outfits, and so on.

Thus, women who are very judgmental about their legs get very concerned if they happen to see a spider vein appear on their leg. The appearance of a spider vein is easily recognizable. It is red, small, and looks as if someone drew a long squiggly line with a red pen. This kind of vein can be found anywhere on the legs.

There are many different ways that a woman can stop a spider vein from occurring. Basically, this kind of vein materializes when blood pools inside of a vein because of pressure but on either the blood circulation, or the vein itself. Thus, the first thing that a woman can do to prevent this kind of vein from happening is to avoid sitting in one place with her legs crossed for too long a time.

Another thing that a woman should do to prevent a spider vein from happening is to avoid stiletto heels if she knows she will be walking a lot. This will not only help her circulation, but it will also save her from getting tired, callused feet.
