Machine cuts deep into masonry

The TS 800 Cutquik cut-off machine works deep into masonry, stone, and steel. The user doesn't feel uncomfortable, fatiguing movement, even at 9000 rpm, due to the tool's five-point, dual element anti-vibration system. The machine comes with a specially-designed cart so it can do the work of walk-behind equipment for certain jobs.

Handheld tool makes square cut

The 603GC cut-off saw provides an alternative to other handheld masonry and concrete cutting tools. The saw is capable of plunge cutting to 10 in. and creates a square opening with no overcuts in material as thick as 9 in. The product has a rear port air intake and filtration system designed for wet cutting aggregate materials.

Dry-cut saw works in tight spots

The CM4SB2 4-in. masonry saw moves smoothly through tile, marble, granite, concrete brick, and similar materials. It withstands tough conditions in a dry-cutting environment. A specially-sealed armature and switch protect the tool from dust and debris and minimize vibration and noise. Its short edge-to-blade distance makes it easy to cut in tight spaces.

Power floating embeds the large aggregate just beneath the surface of the mortar, removes surface irregularities, and compacts the concrete while it consolidates mortar at the surface in preparation for other finishing operations. The timing of when you should power float a floor is critical. The rule of thumb on when a slab is ready for the power float is that your footprint should only be 1/4-inch deep or less, with little or no bleed- water present.
