Little did they realize is that skin, like those of African Americans which may be more adapted to warmer settings, has extra melanin making them more sensitive to other things that cause acne and more vulnerable to pimple-causing elements.

Those of African American descent, if experiencing severe acne, should seek the advice of their skin doctor.
